NYEW Plant Tour: "Thermal Battery™ Energy Storage in the Financial District"
Limited Capacity full
Adding this to your schedule will put you on the waitlist.

Go downtown to the financial district and take a tour of the largest office building in New York City by floor area. This LEED Gold certified building meets high demand for cooling with the Trane® Thermal Battery™ Cooling System designed to reduce operating costs while reducing the building environmental impact.

This approach results in a permanent peak demand reduction which enables the property owners to reduce their summer peak demand by 2.1 megawatts (MW), resulting in $2.5 million in annual cost savings according to a new NYSERDA case study. The system stores thermal energy like a battery to keep occupants comfortable. Energy is charged inside CALMAC® energy storage tanks when excess or inexpensive energy is available and discharged when demand is high or price is high.

Hear from the customer and technology solution experts at this exclusive New York Energy Week Plant Tour event.

More information about Trane®  and the Thermal Battery™ system can be found here: http://nyenergyweek.com/tranes-energy-storage-revolution/
