Shihab is the co-founder, president, and CEO of Power Edison, a company focused on providing innovative energy storage solutions for the grid and is considered to be the Uber of battery energy storage systems (BESS). After ten years of delivering innovative renewables and smart grid solutions in the power industry, Shihab and colleagues are introducing grid-scale BESS that will not require subsidies for economic operation. Power Edison offers transportable utility scale BESS, thus allowing the systems to be utilized at a higher rate compared to traditional stationary BESS.
